Welcome to the Hamilton Recreation Center

The Maverick Center and Hamilton Recreation Center have completed a $42 million dollar renovation and expansion project to upgrade facilities. During the year students and faculty will be amazed by the offerings available to them at the facility.  The Campus Recreation Services staff has gone to great lengths to make sure you have the newest equipment, latest technology, and relevant fitness offerings to meet everyone's needs. This expansion project has resulted in the premier campus recreational facility in the State of Colorado. We look forward to seeing you

Scheduling

The recreational facilities at Colorado Mesa University are designated multiple use facilities in which occasional scheduling conflicts occur necessitating adjustments in the regular schedule.  All schedule changes will be posted 48 hours in advance (whenever possible) on the bulletin board closest to the entrance to the Student Recreation Center.  Please call 970.248.1592 for the latest information.

The rec center will attempt to keep abbreviated hours on days surrounding these holidays, as well as, Fall Break, Spring Break, Christmas Break and during the Summer.
